Mudguard be gone !

Ive finally got round to removing the rear mudguard and replacing it with the part Gary made for me (its been sitting in the cupboard for a year or so ).

After a bit of swearing and nearly loosing a finger by using a huge pair of tin snips to shape the underseat cover , all went quite smoothly with fitting the rest, very pleased with the look ,next is the front mudguard (off a bonneville which has been dramatically shortened), which is back from Gary's after having the holes welded up and the paint removed . No doubt it will be taking up space in the cupboard for a while yet !

Flaming July and a few hours off work .

bugger me , it`s flaming hot ! .I have a few days off work and was determined to get the bike out for a bit of a run , so it was down to Kent and just hit the back roads and single lane farm tracks .I managed to loose myself down some of these potholed and gravel covered tracks, but that was all part of the day , great weather ,very little traffic and some great Kentish countryside .
